Why tango?
Tango is not only one of the most beautiful close embrace dances there is but you will also join a warm and friendly community of dancers who regularly meet to dance and socialise in Edinburgh.
Who is it for?
Tango is for everyone of all ages and backgrounds. You can find tango people and places to dance in almost every country in the world.
Do I need a partner?
You are welcome to come with a partner but there is no need for a partner. One of the key skills in dancing tango is to be able to dance with anyone.
What should I wear?
You don’t need any fancy shoes or clothes to get started. Wear something comfortable that allows you to move easily and some shoes that allow you to pivot. Proper dancing shoes have a suede leather sole to allow you to pivot.
