Vanessa trained professionally in ballet in Florence, Italy, from a young age under the tutelage of Cinzia Vannini and Marga Nativo.  After flirtations with contemporary dance and flamenco she discovered Argentine tango. She has been studying and developing her dance ever since. She currently resides in Scotland where she dedicates herself to developing the local tango scene. She is the Artistic Director of the Glasgow Tango Collective.
