About this event

Come along this Saturday 28th January at 5:30 pm to the Upper Hall at Pleasance for a Followers Technique Tango Workshop with Vanessa Leamy Corsini!   If you are having trouble walking & balancing, or simply want to explore how to be a more elegant and expressive follower, this workshop is for you. We will cover technique fundamentals, adornos and much more.   Open to anyone wanting to explore following within Argentine tango!
No need for a partner!   About Vanessa:
Vanessa trained professionally in ballet in her native Florence from a young age under the tutelage of Cinzia Vannini and Marga Nativo. After flirtations with contemporary dance and flamenco she discovered Argentine tango. She has been studying and developing her dance ever since. She currently resides in Scotland where she teaches and organises events to develop the local tango scene. £4 student and member   The door will open at 17:15.   What kind of shoes should I wear?   We suggest wearing any shoes you find comfortable, any type of dancing shoes will be perfect. No need to wear tango heels unless this is your preference.
