Improvers
Pilrig Church Hall
Weds- 7.30pm-8.30pm
These classes are designed to introduce some of the main elements in Argentine tango dance, bridging the gap between beginner and intermediate level. Focus on improving connection, technique, musicality, repertoire and social dance skills. Attendance at these classes requires having completed all the Tango Basics modules at least once or the equivalent in another beginners course. No partner necessary. We will rotate partners in class.
Intermediate
Pilrig Church Hall
Weds – 8.45pm-9.45pm
The Intermediate class is for experienced dancers who are confident with all the material from the improvers courses. This will usually be dancers who have been dancing for several years and who are regular social dancers. Focus on development of variety, understanding of the dance, technique, connection, improvisation and interpretation. Come alone or with a partner. We will rotate partners during the class.
Classes take place at Pilrig St. Pauls Church Hall, 1b Pilrig Street, EH6 5AH on Wednesdays. From 19th April 2023 till 5th July.
